The Motto is probably the ultimate 'in' venue in Vienna The important and beautiful meet here for a drink in the stylish yet cozy bar or swap the latest news over a quiet dinner.

In 2008, the restaurant was converted by architects BHEF into an "innovative living room". The emphasis is therefore on coziness, even if the furnishings appear a little feudal and opulent. The colors violet, turquoise and orange are harmoniously coordinated and unobtrusively flashy.

The velvety benches create a sense of wellbeing and the dolls on the ceiling make the guests look "up". An additional feature is the glass culture: Guests are poured aperitifs, lemonades, shots and wines in a collection of colored glasses produced exclusively for the Motto by manufacturer NasonMoretti in Murano.

The menu is also worth a look: The dishes are seasonally created and value is placed on the incorporation of regional products. The food ranges from Viennese specialties such as Schinkenfleckerl through to Asian fusion cuisine.

The Motto creates a unique ambience with culinary delights to be found nowhere else in this combination - only in Vienna.
