Over 100 designers from home and abroad are represented with a sales stand at the Edelstoff design market in the dispatch hall of the former Ankerbrotfabrik. Rare bargains from the areas of art, fashion and accessories as well as interiors can be got hold of here on 6 and 7 April. Mainly creations of independent labels are shown on 2,000 m2, which are otherwise hard to come by in retail outlets. If shopping makes you hungry, small snacks can also be bought here.
The Modepalast in the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) is also being held here for the eleventh time. From 3 to 5 May, around 100 exhibitors present fashion, bags, jewelry and accessories at the popular sales exhibition. Young, up-and-coming labels from around Europe are represented, as are well-known Austrian names, including Amateur, Ina Kent and Tiberius. Fashion shows and workshops are also on the program.
The focal points of Modepalast Green and Modepalast Generations will be held again this year. The former concentrates on organic and sustainably produced fashion, while Modepalast Generations shows collections for a mature audience - away from pleated skirts and cardigans. For the first time, there is also a focal point for men, at which a wide offering of designer fashion for men will be exhibited.
