Everything seems a bit improvised here. That is precisely why Vienna’s creative scene in the Future Garden feels so good.

The Futuregarden is one of those places in Vienna's hip 6th district that people usually intend to hit for pre-drinks, only to leave again once the bell tolls closing time.

On Friday and Saturday night, and especially whenever the gallery next door is hosting a private view, the Futuregarden is so packed that people stylishly pile up at the door to enjoy the moderately priced drinks and excellent DJ-sets by Vienna's scenesters. This is a great place to toast to the future amidst a great crowd of art and music enthusiasts, knowing that the most imminent future may hold nothing but a healthy hangover.
