At The Hot Dogs/Freaks & Icons on the corner of Zollergasse/Lindengasse, Mandarina Brausewetter presents her striking T-shirts and blazers inspired by street graffiti and made from sweatshirt fabric with puff sleeves. Apart from Brausewetter's creations, international labels are also given space on the shelves: fashion between classic, avant-garde and streetstyle.
Melanie de Goederen’s label Buntwäsche has set up shop diagonally opposite. Here, combination is the order of the day. You can create you own custom shirt from a range of different cuts, colors, sleeve lengths and printed patterns. There are also adorable brightly colored frilly skirts, leggings and bodies for next generation fashionistas.
Sandra Gilles’s la petite boutique tempts impulse buyers with delicate lace shirts and airy cloth bags. If you re-cross Lindengasse at this point you will find yourself in front of Wabisabi. Japanese is the hallmark of Stefanie Wippel’s collection of flowing legwear and jersey tops in white and black, which can be worn together in many different combinations. At Rosenrot there are interesting fashion labels to purchase, such as Iheart, Firma Berlin and MM6.
Camille Boyer sells fashion by young designers and labels from across Europe in her shop of the same name. The owner selects the items herself and places value on special cuts and high-quality materials. At Ozelot, smart leather bags and individual recycled bags made from bicycle inner tubes of the label Kontiki are to be found.
Elke Freytag and Maronski are two other fashion labels worth paying a visit to on Lindengasse. The former stands for minimalist cuts, the latter for extravagant and sporty fashion. Sophisticated shoes, jewelry and accessories can be found in the studio community Werkprunk.
