Gloves can be much more than everyday clothing with a purpose. This has been proven for several years by Nina Peter and designer Gregor Pirouzi with the glamorous glove label "Nina Peter Hautnah". Since 2003, the two Viennese locals have developed a cult status in the international fashion industry with their creative designs in leather. Even Lady Gaga wears a chic special production in the music video "The Edge of Glory".
The exclusive gloves are sold worldwide in renowned shops such as Colette in Paris and Harvey Nichols in London. And since September 2011, the label has even had its own shop in Vienna's city center. In a prominent location, right next to the Loos-Bar in the Kärntner Arcade, there are the chic parts of python, Russian salmon-perch or lamb. Besides gloves, Nina Peter also creates bags - predominantly clutches. These are made from equally unusual types of leather and have even been spotted being carried by Kate Moss.
Gloves are a tradition for Nina Peter. She comes from a family that has run the company "Handschuhpeter", with its own production line, in Vienna for more than 170 years. Together with the designer Gregor Pirouzi, she manages the label "Nina Peter Hautnah". Pirouzi worked at Armani, Versace and Vivienne Westwood, having trained in fashion at Helmut Lang.
