Legally Blonde

It all began more than ten years ago with Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon, when she embodied blonde college student Elle Woods in the cinema film of the same name. The musical version celebrated its Broadway premiere in 2007, then moved on to London and Sydney before coming to the Ronacher in Vienna for its premiere in German.

The story is fast-paced: In this comedy, the super-blonde in pink - quite the perfectly styled fashion doll with lapdog in hand - shows how much heart and brains she has, even though many don't suspect this to begin with. At the beginning, her friend Warner ditches her because she isn't serious enough for him, which is getting in the way of his career. Elle then follows him to Harvard to convince him otherwise. Only then does the chaos begin ...

The 30 year-old Barbara Obermaier, known from "Sister Act" (as Mary Roberts), "Dance of the Vampire" (Sarah) and "Rebecca", plays the lead role in Vienna.

German-language performance, but the English translation is projected onto screens.
