The celebrated opera singer will play the Vienna State Opera House a total of 12 times in 2010. The season gets underway in April with Netrebko in the role of Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème (April 5 and 8, 2010), followed appearances as Elvira in Vincenzo Bellini's I Puritani (April 19, 22 and 25, 2010).

In May the popular singer will be playing Micaëla in Georges Bizet's Carmen . Elina Garaňca will take the lead in this Franco Zeffirelli production (May 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15, 2010). And finally Netrebko will play the leading lady in Jules Massenet's Manon on May 18 and 21, 2010.
