More than 210 discounts with the Vienna Card for only 19.90 Euro.
On Herbert-von-Karajan Square right next to the opera building along the Ringstrasse a 50 m² LED video screen will be installed. Performances will be shown with subtitles; 45 minutes before the film begins and during the intermissions information will be presented about that particular work, the cast, the Vienna State Opera, and the performances.
Viennese and guests in the city can enjoy these mild evening hours with classic pleasures for free - a few will surely take a liking to it and be inside the opera house the next time.
Operas composed by the truly great composers are on the program: from Mozart, Richard Strauss, and Wagner to Puccini, Donizetti, Verdi and many others. For example, listen to Anna Netrebko in Tchaikovski's "Eugen Onegin" or to Elīna Garanča and Roberto Alagna in Massenet's "Werther" and Bizet's "Carmen".
