Many Viennese institutions already offer tickets online. If you would like to order your tickets right away, open our event database and find what you are looking for

1. "Your" Musical, "your" opera, "your" concert etc.
2. If you want more information on any given event, please click the red writing and find
3. under "Tickets & Information" (left column) more about ticket prices, how to order them (e.g. with a credit card) etc.
4. In most cases, you will also find the web address of the organizer from which you may order your tickets.

Tickets at travel agencies

Of course, not everyone likes to send his or her credit card number through the Internet. If you feel this way, it might be best to order your tickets from a travel agency .

If the travel agency is connected to an Online Reservation System (such as START in Germany or Austria Ticket Online in Austria) you can learn immediately whether tickets for "your" musical are available on the day of your choice. At the same time, you learn the cost - which, in most cases, includes additional charges ...

Tickets in Vienna

You can also book your tickets after having arrived in Vienna. One way is to ask the concierge at your hotel ( additional charges ). Or you can book them at our Tourist Information Booth (1st district, Albertinaplatz / Maysedergasse - additional charges). Or directly in a Viennese travel agency or ticket office (additional charges).

By the way, it is risky to put off buying tickets until you have arrived in Vienna. You might end up spending your evening with vino rather than Verdi. This may be just fine if you had planned to visit a Heurigen (where there is also some singing!). But it's another story, if you wanted to enjoy an opera...
