Music fans can get hold of high octane music from Austria at the Music Filling Station, near the main entrance to the MQ. This innovative set-up gets its new music and golden oldies from the neighbouring SR archive, which has several thousand Austrian pop tracks available for download.

The repertoire runs from fifties rock’n’roll to avantgarde electronic and underground trash techno, and the artists range from Vienna legend Louie Austen to radio FM4 Soundpark discovery Zeebee. Users can enjoy the laid-back lounge atmosphere at the "pumps" whilst browsing for numbers (or complete albums), and burn them on their own personalised CD. Virtually all of the tracks cost less than a cup of coffee.
