Restaurant at Hermes Villa

The renowned architect Carl von Hasenauer built this romantic mansion from 1882 to 1886, and its name derives from the statue of Hermes in the villa’s garden. With its sumptuous furnishing, the building is considered one of the outstanding examples of villa architecture of the late romantic period.

Today, the Hermes Villa is also a popular showcase for remarkable special exhibitions on cultural historical topics. And nowhere else in Vienna, it seems, does one find such a perfect symbiosis of art, culture and nature.

The restaurant "Artner in der Hermesvilla" offer top-class dining with a focus on game specialties. The restaurant has been redesigned and offers neo-rustic accents with tongue-in-cheek hunting motifs.
