Guided tours of the Burgtheater

From the grand staircases with the famous ceiling paintings by brothers Gustav and Ernst Klimt and Franz Matsch to the sculpture collections of notable poets (Hauptmann, Schnitzler, Raimund, Nestroy) and the gallery of honor with portraits of famous ensemble members – Europe's largest dramatic theater, the Burgtheater, has so much to offer.

The peek behind the scenes at the technology is also exciting. Taking rehearsal, performance, and conversion times into consideration, the tour usually also goes into the auditorium and onto the stage.
