If you arrive by boat , you will be greeted by the Nussdorf landing place (bordering a Viennese Heurigen region).

If you have plenty of time: the road of emperors and kings , the old travel route along the Danube, is one of the most beautiful ways of approaching Vienna when coming from Germany. A brochure provides more information.

On foot : Vienna is located directly on the route of the European Long Distance Paths. You simply cross the Vienna Woods or the National Park Donauauen - from there, it is not very far into the city.

The CAT, the City Airport Train , connects the airport directly with the center of the city.
