The Boylesque Festival Vienna is held every year in May. It is organized by Austria’s only Boylesque artiste, Jacques Patriaque. Burlesque, Boylesque, Vaudeville, artistry and everything in between are presented on two evenings.

Life Ball


The star-studded AIDS-charity event is the most spectacular queer party in Europe and it raises close to a million euros each year for HIV projects. From Federal Chancellor to Hollywood star, they all come to watch the fashion show by one of the world’s super-designers on City Hall Square and to dance the night away. Tickets for the Life Ball are as precious as gold, but the fashion show is free for everyone.

60th Eurovision Song Contest

The 60th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Vienna Stadthalle from 19 to 23 May 2015. The two semi-finals will take to the stage on Tuesday, 19 and Thursday, 21 May, with the grand final on Saturday, 23 May 2015. Numerous events and the Eurovision Village on City Hall Square with public viewing create a party mood across the city.

"Vienna Pride" and the "Rainbow Parade" are the highlights of the gay and lesbian year in Vienna. The "Pride Village" is a tent city that offers a mix of culture, shows, dining, information and parties. The Rainbow Parade also makes its way along the Vienna Ringstrasse this year and is symbol of tolerance and equality. After the big closing rally, the partying continues in Vienna's clubs into the early hours of the morning.

Pink Wiener Wiesn-Festival

Vienna in Black

The international leather and fetish meeting in Vienna does not just offer the obligatory leather and fetish party but a whole range of events. Rainbow Ball


Whoever said that Viennese Waltzes are only for straight people? The Rainbow Ball successfully conquered this heterosexual domain. Formal evening attire is strictly enforced at this gay and lesbian ballroom event. The ball is held in Parkhotel Schönbrunn. All waltzes and lots of fun! www.regenbogenball.at



The Rosenball is a distinguished counterpart of the Viennese Opernball with an unique mixture of the audience. After the formal opening ceremony the crowd is getting wild to house and disco music. Dresscode: Glamourous costumes or evening dress.

Diversity Ball

April 2016

Since 2008, the association "equalizent" has organized the annual Diversity Ball, a unique festival of joie de vivre and respect for human colorfulness and diversity. The Diversity Ball succeeds in bringing worlds together. People dance into the early hours of the morning at the Kursalon Wien in the Stadtpark.
