In trains which are marked with a bicycle symbol in the timetable, you can take your bicycle at any time.
Regio Biking means that you can take your bicycle on regional and regional express trains as well as S-Bahn lines. Reservations are not possible; the bicycle can only be accommodated if there are enough spaces.
With InterCity-Biking (reservations required!), you can also take your bike on longer trips: in most IC trains over medium and longer distances and in individual EN-, EC- and D-trains. The bicycle transport costs 10 euros at InterCity-Biking.
Biking International: international biking is possible on some trains to and from Austria to Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland. They are marked with the symbol "Bicycle in a black square" in the timetable. The international bicycle ticket costs 12 euros.
"Einfach-Raus" Simple Getaway Bicycle Ticket: For 35 euros including bicycle transport you can start your trip in groups of two to five persons each.

"House to House" transport
For longer train trips, the Austrian Federal Railway offers a "House to House baggage" service for bicycles. Your bicycle will be picked up where you are staying (at your hotel, for instance) and sent directly to your ultimate destination. This service should be requested at least two working days ahead, directly at the train station where you buy your ticket or by phone at Tel. +43 05 17 17. Pick-up and delivery appointments are available Monday to Friday. The bicycle transport is only possible in connection with a train ticket.
