Swing into Spring- Vienna: Now or never

TV Spot: Swing into Spring

Jogging & Walking

Not only at the Vienna City Marathon can you experience the city on the run, as it were. Parks such as the Türkenschanzpark, the Schönbrunn Palace Park, Stadtpark and the promenade of the Danube Canal are ideal for jogging.

Marathon runners

Nearby recreation areas like the Prater and the Danube Island offer flat, "fast" routes to meet any training requirements.

In the Lobau there are level gravel and sand paths for a longer relaxing jog. And the hiking trails in the hills of the Vienna Woods have some interesting climbs for mountain runners, too. Vienna runs like clockwork...

Walking

With Nordic Walking you can experience Vienna firsthand. At the main avenue of the Prater, the Prater Hauptallee, on the Danube Island or at Hill Walking in the Vienna Woods. And on seven Walking Miles you can ideally combine the city experience and walking.

Jogging Tip

Jogging in the Prater: Markedroutes show you the way along the main boulevard in the Prater. Details are available at the start in the parking area near the stadium (U2: Stadion). Additional running routes can be found at www.runningcheckpoint.at
