Puff – the bar

There's a newcomer to the hip entertainment district on Gumpendorfer Straße. And what a newcomer! The Puff is a cocktail bar and - believe it or not - gets its name from its former life as a red light establishment. Also dating to this time are the booths with black leather benches and the shiny tiled floor. The rest has been completely turned upside down. And done so by the Viennese design duo Walking Chair, which has implemented a number of highly humorous ideas here.

They created light flowers from old PET bottles, shining bar stools on the ceiling and, as a special eye-catcher, cocktail machines. These objects welded together from old porcelain and crockery can be ordered by guests, ideally by groups, for an evening. The ingredients flow via infusion hoses through bowls and vases, where they absorb special aromas such as a gherkins or limes, wind their way through ice and arrive at the bottom as a finished cocktail. It's the fun way to drink cocktails. But that's not all. Because sensationally good highballs (long drinks with soda, tonic water or lemonade) are poured at the bar. A real recommendation!
