Superamas: Vive L'Armée, Tanzquartier Wien, November 2016

Tanzquartier Wien

The Tanzquartier Wien organizes dance productions and performances by national and international artists, companies and dance professionals in the TQW / Halle G, the TQW / Studios and in the TQW / Halle E.

The studio complex of the Tanzquartier Wien (TQW) consists of the three dance studios as well as a publicly accessible media center with library, video library, periodical gallery and internet access. The online media center contains over 500 recordings of performances and contemporary dance pieces. Every year, around 55,000 dance enthusiasts attend 120 events in the Tanzquartier.

15 years of the Tanzquartier

Two highlights of the 2016/17 season are the guest performance of Real Magic by Forced Entertainment and a resumption of the Viennese version of the hit showcase piece Gala by Jérôme Bel. These are followed by premieres by, among others, The Loose Collective, Anna Mendelssohn and Superamas. The end of the year includes new works by Christine Gaigg, Rotraud Kern and Eszter Salomon. And the second half of the season is full of the unexpected, critical and exciting.
