Vienna in party mood
This autumn’s party kicks off with FM4 Unlimited. Radio station FM4 invites everyone to the Vienna Prater on October 5. From 8.00 pm, visitors can enjoy the Break Dance, Tagada, Autodrom and Blumenrad rides free of charge. From 11.00 pm, the dancing gets going at the Pratersauna and at Club Vie i Pee. A night of Austrian club acts, DJ teams and international radio hosts will be presented. Numerous acts from hip hop to techno create a good atmosphere here on a total of seven floors - and all with just one ticket. Performing, among others, are Austrian Apparel, Kreiml & Samurai, Max Wanderer and the FM4 DJs Functionist, Phekt, Trishes and Joyce Muniz.
Things continue on October 25 with the Gürtel Connection. A varied party night with a whole bunch of concerts and DJs in the trendy haunts on the Gürtel is lined up. Participating, among others, are the clubs The Loft, Chelsea, B72, Auslage, Weberknecht, Café Carina and Café Concerto. All takings will be donated to a charitable cause.
The Viennale, Austria's biggest film festival, also starts on October 25 and brings a big shot of movies and all sorts of parties to the city. There's also proper partying and dancing in the festival headquarters at the Kunsthalle Wien in the MuseumsQuartier until November 8.
