Every day there is matching live music and in the evening a fire show, a children's program with story time, crafting, St. Nicholas and Krampus run (November 29), Kasperl puppet show (November 30) and much more besides. And when it finally gets too cold outside, then you should head to the exhibition in the museum – admission is free on Sunday!
Advent Festival at Gugumuck Farm

For many people, eating snails is a real treat – so why not enjoy some snails in Advent? The Advent Festival at Gugumuck Farm has plenty of surprises for you: home-made punch and mulled wine, tarte flambée from the fire barrel, honey and truffle specialties and, of course, snail specialties from the executive chef. There are even snail decorations for the Christmas tree – at the cute children's program, the youngest can practice painting the snail shells for the Christmas tree.
Vegan Christmas Market

You can find everything you need for a vegan Christmas at the vegan Christmas market in the Arcotel by the pretty Kaiserwasser lake, which invites you to go on romantic walks and pass the time not only in summer. At this Advent market, everything revolves around the vegan lifestyle. You can also take away lots of information for the time after Christmas from the numerous exhibitors of everything from cosmetics to food and a supporting program with workshops.

Winter market in the Augarten

Small manufactories and handicraft businesses can be found indoors with their culinary delicacies, while a camp fire and home-made hot cocktails set the mood outside. A special tip: people dance to live bands and DJs every Saturday.

A quiet park atmosphere with a Christmas touch is offered by the Christmas market in Türkenschanzpark. Right by the "Turkish fountain", you'll find food and handicrafts such as blown glass, jewelry and much more besides. On the Sundays there's live music, a gingerbread workshop for the children, and a daily soap bubble show by Mr. Bubbles.
Advent market in the Hirschstetten Botanical Gardens

The Advent market and Christmas show in the Hirschstetten Botanical Gardens offer a very special experience in the temperature-controlled greenhouses of Wiener Stadtgärten in the 22nd district. Where flowers for greening the city are cultivated in the spring, fans of colorful Advent illumination and Christmas delicacies bustle around in winter. A special children's program is held from 4.00 pm every Sunday, where kids can do crafts in the Palm House and bake cookies in the bakehouse.
Advent at Schönbrunn Zoo

A Christmas atmosphere also prevails at Schönbrunn Zoo: for example, there are free guided tours for children including on the "giants" and "crib animals", on all Sundays in Advent.
- Guided tours for children: start every Advent Sunday at 2.30 pm (meeting point at the Hietzing information center, duration: approx. 1 hour, adult guardian required).
The zoo's ORANG.erie transforms into a Christmas craft workshop, where individual Christmas decorations are made. The farm kitchen of the Tirolerhof opens its doors on these days and become a cookie bakery.

Special guided tours and craft activities on Christmas Eve also make the wait for the Christkind pass more quickly.
