The Rueff Dance School is located in the old center of the city, right behind City Hall (Rathaus). For visitors to Vienna, it offers waltz lessons at fixed times several days the week (you can also pass by just for one lesson):

HOP ON WALTZ

In addition to the basis of the waltz, Rueff also teaches the basic steps of the dizzying polka. The waltz lessons are held in German and English, in other languages by prior arrangement - for instance Japanese, Russian, and so on.

Each lesson costs 50 Euros per couple. You can leave your ball gown at home or in your hotel room, comfortable leisure wear is entirely sufficient, but be sure to wear shoes with smooth soles.
