Live music, live concerts: that is what Jazz and Blues thrive on. Live sessions are on the program of numerous Viennese clubs on an almost daily basis.

The city on the Danube has a lively scene and becomes a meeting point for international stars at several annual festivals, such as the Vienna Jazz Festival and Vienna Blues Spring. Vienna was hometown of celebrated musicians like Friedrich Gulda (in the photo, † 2000) and Joe Zawinul († 2007).
