オペラ座とフォルクスオーパーをホームグラウンドとするウィーン国立バレエ団は、新鮮なプログラムで2020/21年シーズンを迎えます。スイス出身の振付家マーティン・シュレプファーが新たな芸術監督として就任するからです。彼の振付は集約的で高度の技術を必要とします。新シーズンにはグスタフ・マーラーの交響曲第4番とドミートリ・ショスタコーヴィチの交響曲第15番がプレミアを飾ります。
伝統と現代が融合する国立歌劇場とフォルクスオーパー
アメリカのネオクラシックの巨匠ジョージ・バランシンとジェローム・ロビンズ、オランダのハンス・ファン・マーネンは、ウィーンにおけるバレエ・プログラムの重要な柱です。
国立バレエ団2020/21年シーズンには、アレクセイ・ラトマンスキー、アメリカの巨匠ポール・テイラー、マーク・モリスの作品が初登場します。 更にモダンダンスの故郷とも言うべきネザーランド・ダンス・シアターのソル・レオン＆ポール・ライトフット、イジー・キリアン、ハンス・ファン・マーネンの作品も紹介されます。
もちろんバレエ団の重要レパートリーも上演されます。オペラ座では「ジュエル」に加えストーリー・バレエの「ラ・フィユ・マル・ガルデ」「ジゼル」「白鳥の湖」、フォルクスオーパーではファミリー・プログラムとも言うべき「ピーターパン」「コッペリア」が登場。

Unfortunately, due to the historical nature of the building, the Vienna State Opera does not offer ideal conditions for accessibility. Nevertheless, it is important to us to make the performance as smooth as possible for visitors with limited mobility.
