City Airport Train (CAT) by bus

From August 2026 to October 31, 2027, it will not be possible to travel into Vienna’s city center on the CAT due to extensive modernization work. The City Airport Train will operate a replacement service using comfortable premium buses between Vienna Airport and the Wien Mitte/Landstraße station, running at more frequent intervals. Up to five buses per hour will run in each direction. The trip takes 21 minutes.
