ウィーン交響楽団

ウィーンで最も活動的なオーケストラで、とりわけ、ブラームス、ブルックナー、マーラー、リヒャルト・シュトラウスの作品を重点的に演奏。楽友協会、コンツェルトハウス、アン・デァ・ウィーン劇場に出演しています。

ウィーンにおけるシンフォニー・プログラムの基幹となっているのはウィーン交響楽団で、毎年、最も多くのコンサートとオペラに出演しています。128人の団員からなるオーケストラは、ヨーロッパ最良のオーケストラに数えられ、とりわけ盛期ロマン派音楽を専門としています。

ウィーン交響楽団は1900年、ウィーン・コンサート協会の名で設立され、アントン・ブルックナーの「交響曲第9番」、アーノルト・シェーンベルクの「グレの歌」、モーリス・ラヴェルの「左手のためのピアノ協奏曲」などを初演しています。

ヘルベルト・フォン・カラヤン、ヴォルフガング・サヴァリッシュという重要な常任指揮者のもとで、典型的なウィーンの音響が培われました。2024/25シーズンには、新たに ペトル・ポペルカ が首席指揮者に就任しました。これまでの歴史でも、レナード・バーンスタイン、ロリン・マゼール、ズビン・メータ、クラウディオ・アッバード、カルロス・クライバーなど著名な客演指揮者とともに、大きな成功を収めています。

ウィーン交響楽団の主要な舞台は、楽友協会とコンツェルトハウスです。近年はアン・デァ・ウィーン劇場にも登場、コンサートのほかオペラ公演にも出演しています。既に1946年以来、ウィーン交響楽団は、ブレゲンツ音楽祭の「オーケストラ・イン・レジデンス」となっています。

The Box Office is open 9am-7pm (Monday-Friday) and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.

For all concerts organised by the Musikverein the Box Office opens one hour before the beginning of the performance (also on Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays).
