Le Belvédère Supérieur n'est pas qu'une œuvre d'art baroque, mais aussi le foyer d'œuvres d'art mondialement connues, comme « Le Baiser » de Gustav Klimt. Plusieurs œuvres de Egon Schiele et de Oskar Kokoschka s'y trouvent également.
