About the Event
The Queer Art & Community Festival Vienna
From May 20 to September 5, 2026, “Synergies of Solidarity,” a queer art and community festival, will take place. The festival - initiated by the Queer Art Spaces association - combines contemporary queer art with socio-political issues and serves as a platform for exchange, visibility, and sustainable networking. In total, the festival comprises six exhibitions and over 30 events at various locations throughout the city.

Festival program
In addition to the exhibitions, the festival program includes openings, performances, talks, workshops, screenings, clubbing events, and collaborations as part of Vienna Pride. Highlights include contributions in the context of “Queering the Belvedere,” the Vienna Pride Conference, concerts by the Vienna Gay Men’s Chorus, as well as numerous community events and performative interventions in public spaces.
