FREILUFT brings the Eurovision Song Contest to the Great Outdoors
As an official side event in cooperation with ORF, the Eurovision Song Contest shows will be broadcast live in the garden of Palais Auersperg - on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Thursday, May 14, 2026, and during the grand finale on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The broadcasts will take place regardless of the weather - indoors at the Palais if necessary.

The Eurovision evenings will also be accompanied by specially curated daytime parties. On May 14 and 16, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m., the popular hosts from SOUL will set the tone with DJ lineups, live acts, and show elements, creating a lively atmosphere that flows seamlessly into the evening broadcasts.
However, FREILUFT is not only open on the days of the live broadcasts. Throughout Eurovision week, the Palais Auersperg invites guests daily starting at 2:00 p.m. to enjoy early summer in the Baroque garden. A special highlight will be May 15, 2026: Under the motto “Hot Honey Picnic Club – 1 Year Anniversary,” the garden will transform into a stylish open-air picnic day party - featuring daytime drinking, DJ sets, and plenty of space for movement, socializing, and summery vibes right through to the golden hour.
