Where the King of Waltz conducted
House of Strauss is a new museum for one of Vienna's musical superstars: Johann Strauss (son). The multimedia production with sound and animated visuals, LED walls and sculptures as projection surfaces makes it possible to capture the spirit of the time through all the senses - and all this in the original rooms of Casino Zögernitz, where the Strauss family and many other musicians and composers such as Joseph Lanner and Carl Michael Ziehrer conducted and performed.

In the House of Strauss, visitors are immersed from room to room in scenes and locations from the 19th century, with images of ballrooms, concert halls and stories from the period. In contrast to classical music education, visitors can experience themselves interactively as part of the scenery - for example, by experiencing themselves as performers in an operetta, whether at the digital music stand or at interactive hands-on stations where they can develop a new understanding of music.
