Running for those who can't

May 10, 2026, will be a big day: Austria and the world will come together for the eleventh edition of the Wings for Life World Run to further advance the cure for spinal cord injury.
Whether at one of the numerous organized running events or via the Wings for Life World Run app, no other run mobilizes as many participants worldwide as the annual charity run for spinal cord research. Alongside six other cities worldwide, Vienna will once again host one of the large-scale flagship runs in 2026, with over 13,000 runners and wheelchair users taking part. Alternatively, participants can take part via the Wings for Life World Run app on their own favorite running route or at an organized app run event nearby.
