Diversity Ball

Since 2008, "equalizent" has organized the annual Diversity Ball, a unique festival of joie de vivre and respect for human colorfulness and diversity. Many LGBTIQ+ people in all their different communities come together for a rousing night at the ball in the Kursalon Wien, as a sign of the colorful nature of society, for tolerance, accessibility and mutual respect.

Rainbow Ball

Vienna Fetish Spring

June 2025

The organizers of "Vienna in Black" also become active each year in the spring: the "Vienna Fetish Spring" festival is held each year around Corpus Christi. Numerous fetish events - including the election of "Mr. Leather Austria" - will be on the program.

Vienna Pride and Rainbow Parade

In 2025, the Rainbow Parade will make its way along Vienna's Ringstrasse boulevard for the 29th time. It is the highlight of Vienna Pride, which sees the rainbow flag flutter across Vienna for two full weeks. Numerous events are dedicated to the rights of lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual, intersexual and many other people.
