Lesbians only

Vienna has a lot to offer to lesbian visitors who will find plenty of places and events created by women for women.

Tried, tested, and popular since 1977 is Café Flinte (formerly Frauencafé) on Lange Gasse in the 8th district. Founded in the 1970s by a feminist collective, last managed by a woman on her own with lots of love and whole bunch of dedication, the small but mighty women only (transgender welcome) café is now run by a group of committed lesbians, who bring with them lots of experience in the areas of dining and culture.

Particularly worth recommending are the PiNKED women’s clubbing sessions, which have built up a dedicated fan community over several years. The regularly held G.Spot parties are also highly recommended to all women.
