All of Vienna will be on its feet at the Vienna City Marathon on the weekend of April 18 and 19, 2026 – to run, cheer and be part of the excitement! The route takes the runners past many of the city’s highlights. From the start at the Vienna International Center – UNO-City, through the Vienna Prater, past the Vienna State Opera and Schönbrunn Palace to the finish on the Ringstrasse between the Burgtheater and City Hall: participants will enjoy this unique sightseeing tour through the musical and cultural metropolis of Vienna.

The classic marathon over 26.2 miles, a half marathon and a relay marathon for teams of four will take place on Sunday, 19 April 2026. On Saturday, April 18, it’s all about “Exercise for All” with side runs for young and old.

• Coca-Cola Inclusion Run: Everyone is invited, regardless of disability, to cover 800 meters in 40 minutes: walking, running, in a wheelchair, on a hand bike, with crutches, strollers, and the like.
• Start of the Princess & Prince Run: All children aged 3 to 6 are invited to participate in the 200-meter run. The children are dressed up or wearing makeup as princesses or princes.
