Vienna City Hall Guided Tours

The tours are conducted in German. Audio guides in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian are available free of charge. A form of identification must be left as a deposit to receive the free audio guide.

The tours take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1:00 p.m.

The starting point for the tours is the City Information Office in City Hall, entrance Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz 1, 1010 Vienna.

To participate in a tour, online registration via the City of Vienna’s website is required. Dates are generally available for viewing and booking online one month in advance. A maximum of 50 people may participate per tour.

Group tours (10 or more people) are available only upon request to City Hall (at least four weeks before the desired date).

No tours are offered on session days, public holidays, Good Friday, December 24 and 31, or during major events.
