About the Event
Historic Landmarks: A Treasure for Everyone.
On Heritage Day, the last Sunday in September, property owners open the doors to sites that are otherwise closed to the public or have limited access. Under the theme “Historic Landmarks: A Treasure for Everyone", visitors learn about the social, cultural, environmental, and economic value of heritage sites.
The importance of historic preservation and conservation can be experienced firsthand through special guided tours and exciting program events.
