"Historic citrus varieties in Schönbrunn Palace Park"

Under the title "Historic citrus varieties in Schönbrunn Palace Park", visitors are presented with a large part of the citrus collection of the Austrian Federal Gardens in Schönbrunn Palace Park. Individual special specimens are presented, their (life) history is told and how they are cultivated is explained. Particular attention is paid to the diversity of historical varieties.

Visitors also have the opportunity to get to know the diverse flavors of citrus fruits at the popular citrus tasting and to take a look behind the scenes on a guided tour of the greenhouses of the Austrian Federal Gardens. Citrus gardeners from the Austrian Federal Gardens will be available to give advice to interested hobby gardeners. In addition to a wide range of plants and plant rarities, exhibitors also offer culinary delights, handicrafts and specialist literature on the topics of citrus, gardens, plants and nature.
