Prater Hauptallee is becoming a gathering place for the LGBTIQ+ community
One of the highlights of the Vienna Pride programme in 2026 is the Vienna Pride Community Fest on 30 May 2026 along the Prater Hauptallee. For one day, Vienna’s much-loved green escape becomes the place to be for the LGBTIQ community, with queer organisations introducing themselves, making connections and celebrating together.

A Kids Zone offers activities and entertainment for rainbow families, food trucks serve food throughout the day, the Löwenherz bookshop brings a selection of Pride items, and community artists keep the stage buzzing from morning to evening.
At 18:00, around 2,000 participants in the Pride Run Vienna set off – also along the Prater Hauptallee. They are not only there for the love of running, but also to make a strong statement for acceptance, equality and diversity. The participants’ warm-up and, of course, the winners’ ceremony take place as part of the Vienna Pride Community Fest.
