Religious Services in Vienna

Here we provide information on religious services and meetings of different religious organizations:

At www.erzdioezese-wien.at (German), you can find information on Roman Catholic parishes, Holy Mass in Viennese churches. The Vienna International Religious Centre provides listing of services in foreign languages – including references to the Albanian, Italian, Croat, Polish, Slovak, Slovenian, Czech and Hungarian religious communities as well as pastoral ministry for tourism.

In addition, you learn at what times the English, French and Spanish communities meet and when the communities that practice Oriental and Eastern rites (Armenian-Catholic, Romanian Orthodox, and Greek Orthodox [German]) have their meetings. Information on Vienna’s Russian Orthodox church can also be found on the Internet.

The Protestant and Lutheran Churches have numerous parishes in Vienna. The Jewish Community of Vienna also has its own website on which you can find news on Jewish life in Vienna as well as the schedule for synagogue services.

On the website of the Islamic Community in Austria, you will find, among other things, a listing of mosques in Vienna. You can find a directory of Free Churches in Austria at www.freikirchen.at.
