“Vienna Experience Bag” Prize Draw

The prize draw is organized by the Vienna Tourist Board, Invalidenstraße 6, 1030 Vienna (WTV) as part of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

What can I win?

Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Prizes are not transferable to third parties. In the case of services (e.g., museum visits, tours, etc.), the date/period of use depends on the availability of the respective service. The prize must be redeemed within the specified period; otherwise, it will expire.

Prize Draw Period

Participation in the prize draw is possible from 16 March 2026 to 10 May 2026.

Who can participate?

Only natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and possess a ticket for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna are eligible to participate.

Employees of the Vienna Tourist Board and their relatives are excluded from participation. Participation via competition clubs or automated services is not permitted.

In the event of violations of these terms and conditions, the WTV reserves the right to disqualify the persons concerned.

Participants who use unauthorized forms of assistance or other types of manipulation, such as automatically generated entries through bots, will also be disqualified. In such cases, the WTV reserves the right to subsequently revoke prizes already awarded or to claim damages if the participant acted culpably and the prize has already been redeemed.

Participants may only register once; therefore, only one prize per participant is possible.

How are the winners determined and how will they be notified?

After the prize draw period, the winners will be selected at random and notified by email.

If the winners do not respond by the end of the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna on 13 May 2026, any claim to the prize will expire without replacement. There is no obligation to accept the prize.

Winners will be notified immediately after the end of the prize draw via the email address provided by the participant.

The prize can only be collected until 16 May 2026 upon presentation of the prize confirmation and the personal event ticket at one of the following locations:

• Tourist Information, Albertinaplatz 1, 1010 Vienna
• Wien Museum, Karlsplatz 8, 1040 Vienna

What happens to my data?

By participating in the prize draw, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the purpose of conducting and managing the prize draw and notifying you in the event of a win. Providing this data is required for participation. Your data will be stored until the winner has been determined. You may revoke your consent at any time by sending us a message. Your data will then be deleted.

If you win, we will process your data (name and email address) for the purpose of managing and redeeming the prize and will delete it after the statutory retention period of 10 years.

The Vienna Tourist Board expressly states that no personal data will be passed on to third parties. Exceptions apply to data transfers within the framework of data processing agreements, such as the sending and storage of emails and the storage of data in a secure data center. These are processors pursuant to Art. 4 (8) GDPR, carefully selected and contractually obliged to comply with the same data protection standards. Processors will only receive access to your data to the extent and for the period necessary to provide the services or to the extent that you have consented to data processing and use.

How do I receive my prize?

The prize can only be collected until 16 May 2026 upon presentation of the prize confirmation and the personal event ticket at:

• Tourist Information, Albertinaplatz 1, 1010 Vienna, or
• Wien Museum, Karlsplatz 8, 1040 Vienna.

What applies if a provision of these terms becomes invalid?

If any provision of these terms and conditions becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. An appropriate provision that most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision shall replace it.

Which law applies?

This prize draw is governed exclusively by Austrian law. The place of performance and jurisdiction is Vienna. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and international conflict-of-law rules is excluded.

Liability

The WTV shall be released from all obligations upon expiry of the prize draw period, the end of the prize draw, or the handover of the prize.

The WTV assumes no liability for legal and/or material defects. The announcement of the winners is made without guarantee.
