The dining garden at the Volksgarten Pavilion is one of the most secluded summer locations in the city. Delicious burgers, jerk chicken, fish and inventive vegetable specialties are prepared on the barbecue smoker in the garden from Tuesday to Sunday – this year inspired by all things Jamaican (Tue-Sat 6 pm - 9.30 pm). Accentuated with music by the best DJs in the city.

The restaurant "Zur Alten Kaisermühle" is famous for its grilled specialties in summer and the romantic setting right by the Old Danube. The house specialty are the specially marinated spare ribs. What's more, numerous fish and meat specialties as well as surf and turf are prepared on the charcoal grill.

The Restaurant Kaiserwalzer also has a BBQ smoker in its idyllic garden in the 6th district. Food is grilled from Friday to Sunday from 5.30 pm, when the weather's fine. Spare ribs, steaks and grilled vegetables are prepared here in the barbecue smoker. It's also worth taking a peek inside the restaurant, parts of which are heritage listed.

The Allee right on the main avenue in the Prater serves barbecues Viennese-style. At seven meters in length, Austria's largest barbecue smoker is located here in the form of a locomotive. Specialties of the house are spare ribs. In addition, various steaks, fish and poultry are prepared on the charcoal grill.
