Straight from a museum to a party: on selected evenings, the Albertina, the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna, the Heidi Horten Collection and the Wien Museum combine the enjoyment of art with DJ sounds.
Fans of art and music can also end their museum visit in Vienna to DJ sounds. A visit to an exhibition at the Albertina can be combined with the electro beats of Vienna's best DJs. For the party series "Albert & Tina", the bastion in front of the Albertina transforms into one of the trendiest outdoor club locations of the summer, every Wednesday from May 14. While the DJs play their sounds at the bastion, the guests enjoy the warm summer's evening, cool drinks, and a unique view of the illuminated State Opera. The location is thus one of Vienna's best summer terraces. The ticket includes a visit to the Albertina during its opening hours, which can be redeemed until September 21, 2025.
A tour guides visitors through the highlights of the collection on the Kunstschatzi evenings at the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna (KHM). The Kuppelhalle is transformed into a cocktail bar with disco balls and a legendary DJ line-up from Radio Rudina. Dancing is a must! Each event has its own unique theme. The next event will take place on May 27, 2025.
From May 22, the Heidi Horten Collection will be throwing a party one Thursday a month with DJs. The sculpture garden in the Hanuschhof will be transformed into a party venue between 6.00 pm and 9.30 pm under the motto “Express Yourself”. Guests can visit the museum free of charge during this time, as well as enjoying cool drinks and snacks.
Admission to the Wien Museum Karlsplatz is always free of charge, with the exception of temporary exhibitions. Here, too, a visit to the museum can be rounded off with DJ music. From Thursday, May 8, a DJ will bring summery beats to the forecourt of the Wien Museum every second Thursday of the month under the heading “Beats & Bites”. A tasty aperitif provides additional energy!
