Plant and garden shows in Vienna

Vienna's garden shows and plant fairs are a real secret tip when it comes to elegant plants, historic types of fruit, and exotic rarities.

The Rarities Fair is held in the Botanical Garden each year in the spring. The autumn in Vienna is for the Vienna Autumn Fair in the Burgarten. This plant show offers rarities not found at wholesale centers and garden centers. The motto is: Stroll, enjoy, exchange views, buy.

Lovers of exotic fruits have come to the right place at Schönbrunn Orangery for the Vienna Citrus Show. Some of the fragrant plants are over 180 years old! The program also includes tastings of culinary specialties, guided tours, and lectures on the subject of plants. Collectors can buy very special seedlings here.

The final garden show of the year in Vienna is the Vienna Autumn Fair. It is held in the Palm House in the Burggarten and provides information about precious plants and different types of fruit. Bulbs, walnut graftings, as well as different fruit and plant rarities are exhibited and sold by professionals. Questions about plants and gardens are very welcome.
