Flex is one of the best-known clubs in Europe. Whether you’re looking for guitars or rich beats, you’ll find what you’re after here. The sophisticated sound technology delights not only the big crowds, but also constantly attracts the hottest stars of alternative music and current dance culture to Vienna.

Flex has since become a dinosaur amongst Vienna's clubs. Founded in 1990, the club relocated to a disused metro tunnel by the Danube Canal in 1995. Since then, Flex has stood for the best sound in the city. What began with a focus on rock, later had a focus on techno and dub. Today, Flex is a popular club for the young drum’n’base scene.

During the summer, not only is the dance floor absolutely packed but clubbers also like to sit together on the bank of the Danube Canal. For a while now, the extended Flex Café has had its own, always well-frequented dance floor.

Apart from the changing clubs, the numerous concerts are a particular highlight. Newcomers through to successful international acts from a wide range of musical genres take up the microphone.
