Butterfly House
A waterfall, a small pond and several bridges create a picturesque backdrop in the Butterfly House, in front of which unfolds the beauty of the butterflies, offering an opportunity for some great photos. The Butterfly House presents a fascinating environment where visitors are surrounded by hundreds of free-flying exotic butterflies with dazzlingly beautiful markings. These vividly colorful creatures float through the tropical vegetation, flutter around the visitors with curiosity, or glide from flower to flower in search of nectar.
Illustrated charts in the Butterfly House provide information about these wonderful insects and provide an overview of the life-cycle of the butterfly. In the so-called "pupa box," one can observe how larvae turn into butterflies. You can also encounter the colorful Atlas butterfly, with its fantastic pattern and a wing span of up to 11 inches.
