Immersium:Wien

The museum on Habsburgergasse in Vienna’s city center has been transporting visitors young and old into a breathtaking interactive world since it opened in 2023. Numerous multimedia stations are spread out across three floors covering 1,100 m2 of exhibition space. 50 laser video projectors and 120 audio tracks create unforgettable 360-degree experiences. Highlights at Immersium:Wien include a 5D motion ride and, for the more courageous, a VR flight.

Austria´s first permanent immersive museum offers temporary themed exhibitions. From November 14, 2025, visitors can expect a sparkling winter wonderland. Magical Christmas is an adventurous journey to the snow-covered North Pole. Once there, you can help elves wrap gifts and load sleighs. Interactive stations also impart knowledge in a playful way.

The exhibition was created in collaboration with public broadcaster ORF and the charity campaign “Licht ins Dunkel” – one euro per ticket is being donated.
