Twin City Liner

The Twin City Liner connects Vienna’s Old City with the Slovakian capital Bratislava. Since the 2019 season, a new, modern Twin City Liner has been in operation, whose development prioritized eco-friendliness and low-noise operation.

The fast catamaran offers space for up to 250 people, takes 75 minutes for the trip in one direction and travels from Vienna to Bratislava and back up to three times daily. Seats can be booked in first class on the upper deck and on the main deck. Both decks have charging stations for cell phones and other electronic devices along with free Wi-Fi. The fast catamaran is fully air-conditioned, disability-friendly and offers a buffet on board. The transport of dogs and bicycles is permitted. Please note that a valid travel document is needed for the trip into Slovakia.

The Twin City Liner and the DDSG's sightseeing ships dock at the “Vienna City” ship station between Marienbrücke and Schwedenbrücke on the Danube Canal. In addition to the ticket sales office, the architecturally impressive building is also home to the “Gate to Bratislava” – an information desk operated by the city of Bratislava - along with Motto am Fluss, which offers a restaurant and café with a large terrace.

Did you know that 300 tons of steel and 750 m2 of glass were used to construct the 127 meter-long, 17 meter-wide and 8 meter-high pier?
