Nostalgic rides on a vintage boat

Rowing, pedal boating and kayaking
Many operators on the Old Danube offer the option to hire a boat. Especially recommended for lovers is a romantic boat ride in the moonlight to explore the mysterious Old Danube.
If you fancy a paddle tour, a kayak trip is the right option for you. From the Old Danube via the New Danube, followed by a short stop on Danube Island, the tour continues to the Danube Park, where we finish by going up the Danube Tower. Further information on the English-language guided kayak tours is available at www.venturevienna.com
Kayak tours are also available on the Danube Canal. One boat can accommodate up to twelve people. A great experience for adults and children aged 6 and up. No prior experience is required as the tours are accompanied by experienced guides. The route follows the Danube Canal, passing Spittelau with its impressive Hundertwasser architecture, the historic Rossauer Kaserne, the Urania, the mouth of the Wien River, and the well-known Schwedenbrücke near Vienna city centre. Along the way, there are also exciting views of the artistically curated graffiti and summer scene on the Danube Canal.
