Organizer

This prize draw is conducted by the Vienna Tourist Board, Invalidenstrasse 6, 1030 Vienna, Austria. It is not affiliated, sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the respective social media account on which the competition is organised (e.g. META, LinkedIn, ...).

Eligibility and Participation

• Participants must have a genuine social media account. False identities or identities of third persons is not permitted.
• Open to individuals aged 18 and over.
• No purchase or payment is necessary.
• Acceptance of these terms is a condition of entry.

Exclusions

• Employees of the Vienna Tourist Board, their families, and household members are not eligible.
• Violation of these terms may result in exclusion from the draw.
• The Vienna Tourist Board may disqualify entries deemed fraudulent and reclaim any awarded prizes.

Prize Draw Process

• Winners are randomly selected by the Vienna Tourist Board.
• Notification will be via direct message and winners must respond within one week.
• Non-response leads to prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.
• Participants must provide accurate contact information.
• Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
• The Vienna Tourist Board reserves the right to modify or cancel the draw under certain conditions, such as force majeure or technical issues, which will be communicated to participants.

Data Protection

• The processing of participants' personal data is required for participation, as otherwise, participation in the prize draw is not possible.
• The data of participants will be processed by the Vienna Tourist Board solely for the purpose of conducting and fulfilling the prize draw (Art. 6(1)(b), (c), and (f) GDPR). Participants' data will only be processed for the duration of the prize draw and will be immediately deleted thereafter, except for the data of winners, which will be stored for 10 years as required by legal retention obligations.
• Data will only be shared with third parties in the case of winners, and only with cooperation partners or service providers (e.g., partner agencies or travel organizers) working on behalf of the Vienna Tourist Board to fulfill the prize. The relevant (data protection) information will be provided when the prize is announced.

• Withdrawal of consent to data processing will result in the withdrawal from the prize draw.

Liability

• The Vienna Tourist Board's liability ends upon prize delivery, with no responsibility for legal/material defects.
• Notification of winners is without guarantee.
• The Vienna Tourist Board is not liable for damages from participation issues unless due to intentional negligence.

General

• Invalid terms do not affect the validity of remaining ones.
• The prize draw period will be specified in the respective promotional campaign.
• Subject to Austrian law. Recourse to courts for draw verification is excluded.
