Heads up football fans: public screenings during EURO 2021
After UEFA EURO 2020 was forced to take a break, the games are set to resume this year. In Vienna there are many ways to follow the matches of the European football championship at public screenings on large screens in cool dining gardens.

In the green Prater
An area of 3,300 m² on the Prater Hauptallee will be converted into a public screening zone. State-of-the-art LED and sound equipment, shady spots to sit, cool drinks, fresh food and snacks from food trucks and drinks stations will ensure the perfect evening of football – all with free admission. There is also a bookable VIP area. The EURO 2020 zone is located right next to the Feuerdorf on the Prater Hauptallee. Der Garten awaits football fans with burgers, welcome drinks, and a large outdoor area, and is also easy to reach on foot.
Watching football in the sidewalk café
A public screening classic in Vienna: from June 11, the WUK cultural hub will once again be totally dedicated to football – live, outdoors, in HD, with seating, and for partying in the best of company. Full information on the EC quarter in the WUK
Die Schankwirtschaft im Augarten is popular among guests not only for its ambience, but also for its home-made lemonades and seasonal dishes. In summer, guests can also enjoy public screenings outdoors here.
At the Volksgarten Pavilion, there's BBQ and cool beer to go with the football. The European championship matches will be broadcasted on two daylight screens and a regular screen. Enjoying football together has been a traditon in the 18th district for 14 years: Lounge Gersthof is once again on board this year.
The Summerstage broadcasts all Euro matches on several flat screens for enjoyment over a cozy meal and cool drinks. Reservations at email@example.com are recommended. The Chelsea has also been a popular destination for football fans for years. The games can be watched both inside on four large screens and displays, and outside on four flatscreens in the sidewalk café.
