Privacy Policy AI Concierge
We use the AI-Concierge to provide a modern chat function. This is an Austrian artificial intelligence (AI) that finds answers to your questions from our own content, together with publicly available content.
Personal data that is generated during a chat is processed exclusively on servers of our Austrian processor (goodguys GmbH, Moeringgasse 20/1/2, 1150 Vienna). This includes your IP address as well as a session ID to distinguish your chat history and provide the functions you request.
In addition, the following information is transmitted:
- timestamp
- query content
- country of origin
- default browser language
- device type
- operating system version
- mobile phone provider (if applicable)
The legal basis for data processing is the performance of a contract, as it is necessary for the functioning of the chat feature (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Once you close the chat window, your data is anonymized and can no longer be linked to you. For the further development and monitoring of the chat feature, the submitted questions, the provided answers, and any optional numerical ratings are subsequently stored without any personal reference. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When formulating answers, parts of your query are forwarded to third-party servers (Google, OpenAI...). However, the transmitted data does not contain any information that could identify individual persons and is therefore anonymous data. The mapping of answers to users happens only on IT systems of our processor goodguys GmbH.
At present, we cannot filter out query content that might identify you personally. Therefore, please make sure not to enter any personal details such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number etc. If you wish to contact us in person, for example to place an order or make a complaint, please use our other contact options.
Further information on the Wien.Info AI-Concierge: The AI Concierge can answer questions in a chat-like format. The responses are generated by AI systems. To enable this, goodguys gmbh has installed an AI Concierge operator frontend, and an “AI Concierge icon” invites users to ask questions.
The “AI Concierge” operates in two stages: Stage 1: Users anonymously submit questions via the AI Concierge operator frontend. No personal data is required for the chat. The chat window remains open, the technical identifier of the chat and the question are copied, and Stage 2 begins. Stage 2: A copy of the question is sent to goodguy gmbh’s AI system servers for processing. The AI systems generate a response and send it back to the AI Concierge operator frontend. Using the technical identifier, the correct chat is assigned, and the answer becomes visible in the waiting chat.
When using this anonymous AI Concierge service, only those identification data necessary to maintain the chat for the duration of the communication are processed. The chat history is available exclusively and confidentially to the individual using the service. The IP address is not stored after the chat ends. When the AI Concierge chat is closed, the communication ends.
The system is fully confidential. At no point does goodguys gmbh know which individual asked which question. The anonymized content of the chat — including the questions asked, date, time, and the responses provided — is stored for documentation and to improve service quality. The legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6.1.f. Processing ends with the closure of the chat window.
